At Lay & Lo, we believe your home should look beautiful, smell incredible, and most importantly — feel good for you and your family. We're not about picture-perfect perfection; we’re about creating calm corners, stylish scents, and natural touches that make you feel proud of your space (even if there are toys under the sofa).
Lay & Lo is an artisan studio inspired by motherhood, creativity, and a love for cleaner living. Founded by a self-confessed crafting addict (hi, that’s me!) who hit her “clean girl” era while raising two little ones, this brand is all about beautifully better home styling. It all started with a few handmade pieces and evolved into a full-blown obsession with home fragrance – especially the kind that doesn’t fill your air with nasties.
Our Story
I'm a mum of two (the name Lay & Lo is a little love letter to my boys, Caleb and Leo 💛) and like many parents, I wanted my home to feel calm, smell lovely, and be safe for my family. But the more I learned about conventional home fragrances, the more I realised how many harmful chemicals I was unknowingly spraying into the air my babies were breathing.
So, I got to work. I started researching, crafting, and testing — not just how things look and smell, but what’s actually in them. That journey led me to develop my own cleaner (than other brands) reed diffusers, remove anything in my shop that didn’t align with my eco values, and rebrand from The Scandiless Home to Lay & Lo — a more personal, purpose-driven brand with a big heart and even bigger dreams.
Now, everything you see here is made with love, cleaner (than other brands) ingredients, and an eye for Scandinavian-inspired style. It’s home fragrance and decor with a conscience — and a whole lot of soul.

All our reed diffusers and room sprays are made with a non-hazardous base and are completely free from:

We also exclude any fragrance oils flagged with carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic (CMR) warnings. Basically, if it's questionable, it doesn't make the cut.

We use water-based, non-toxic eco resin for our decor, and all packaging is recyclable and plastic-free. Is there more we can do? Absolutely — and we’re always looking for ways to be better.
